FBC LaPlace Church Family,

**¡Saludos desde Nicaragua!** (Greetings from Nicaragua!)

I’m writing to you on our final day in Nicaragua before we fly home tomorrow. Today, our team is enjoying some time at the Telica Waterpark as we refresh after a full and rewarding week of ministry.

This week has been incredibly refreshing for my own heart as I’ve had the privilege of serving alongside our ministry partner, Open Hearts Ministries. I’m so thankful for Charlie Brown, Ray Henley, and Javi Granera. These faithful men continually challenge me in my walk with the Lord and deepen my passion for the Great Commission and sharing the Gospel.

Thank you to everyone who has been praying for me while I’ve been serving this week. God has been at work in amazing ways! During our week of ministry, we witnessed:

- 122 people profess faith in Christ (with local pastors already preparing to follow up with each one)
- 30 food baskets distributed to families in need
- 4 church services
- 4,200 meals provided to underprivileged children
- Door-to-door evangelism and prayer ministry in four different villages alongside local pastors

Seeing God work in and through His people has been such an encouragement. I want to challenge each of you to seek the Lord about participating in one of our future mission trips. If you've never experienced serving on mission, I encourage you to pray about taking that step. God will use you, and He will also do a tremendous work in your own heart. I can't wait to be back home worshiping with my church family this Sunday!

Please also join me in praying for our Disaster Relief Team as they travel to Mansura, Louisiana, this afternoon. What a blessing it is to see our church sending another team this week to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Pray for their safety, for strength as they serve, and for open doors to share the hope of Christ with those they meet. They are scheduled to return Sunday afternoon, and I look forward to hearing all that God has done through their ministry.

Finally, next week is **Vacation Bible School!** Are you ready? I am so excited about what God is going to do! What an incredible opportunity we have to spend an entire week teaching children from our community about Jesus.

This week's prayer moment will be for our VBS. Please pray for every volunteer, every child, every family, and every Gospel conversation. Pray that God would prepare hearts even now and that many boys and girls will place their faith in Jesus Christ. I believe God is going to do a great work, and I can't wait to celebrate all that He accomplishes!

I love you, church family! Thank you for your faithful prayers and support. I’m looking forward to seeing you all this Sunday. We will be looking at Psalm 63 in our Psalms Series.
