JOIN THE TECH TEAM

Church Family,
Every Sunday, there are people serving behind the scenes to help create an environment where our church family can gather, worship, and hear the Word of God without distraction.
From the sound we hear to the lyrics on the screens and the livestream reaching those who cannot join us in person, our Tech Team plays an important role in the life and ministry of First Baptist LaPlace.
And we'd love for you to be part of it!
We're looking for individuals who would be willing to serve on our Tech Team in areas such as:
- Audio: Helping ensure that our worship services can be heard clearly.
- ProPresenter: Operating the lyrics, Scripture, and other visuals during our services.
- Livestream & Video: Helping us share our worship services with those joining us online.
- Lights: Helping make sure everyone can see what is happening on the platform.
Here's the good news: You don't have to be a tech expert to serve! Whether you have experience or have never touched a soundboard before, we're happy to provide training and help you find a place to serve.
And serving doesn't mean giving up every Sunday! Our goal is to build a team where volunteers can serve on a rotation, allowing everyone to participate in worship while also having opportunities to serve.
At its heart, serving on the Tech Team is about more than operating equipment. It's an opportunity to use your gifts, learn something new, and help create a space where people can focus on Jesus.
If you've been looking for a place to get involved, this might be a wonderful opportunity to take that next step.
Interested in serving? Use the button below to sign up, and we'll help you get started! You can also learn more about the ministry by going here.
Thank you for being a church family that faithfully serves one another. Every role matters, and we're grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord together.
In Christ,
Dylan Newton
