As of this morning, we have 23 trunks signed up, but our goal is to have **50 trunks**! We need your help to make this event a success and create a fun, welcoming environment for the families who will join us. Participating is easy! Simply bring your vehicle, some bags of candy, a chair, and a willingness to have fun with the kids. If you run out of candy, don’t worry—we will have extra candy available to keep your trunk stocked! You can decorate your trunk if you’d like, or you can keep it simple and leave it undecorated. If you choose to decorate, please keep everything family-friendly and G-rated. We want this to be a fun, welcoming event for children of all ages, so please avoid scary decorations. **🌶️ Don’t Forget Our Chili Cook-Off!** Along with Trunk or Treat, we will have our annual Chili Cook-Off! Make your favorite pot of chili and enter the competition for the ultimate bragging rights. We will have judges and prizes for the best chili! Our chili will be served alongside the hot dogs at Trunk or Treat, so come ready to share your best recipe with our church family and community. **Trunk or Treat Details** If you are bringing a trunk, please keep the following in mind: - **Arrival time:** Please arrive between **4:00 and 4:30 PM** to get your vehicle parked and ready. Please do not arrive after 4:30 PM. - **Parking together:** If you want to park next to friends or family members, please plan to arrive together. We will assign parking spaces in the order vehicles arrive. Because some vehicles are larger than others, we cannot hold spaces in advance. - **Candy distribution:** Please give out small amounts of candy to each child. Many of the kids will make their way through the line of trunks more than once, and we want to make sure there is enough candy for everyone! - **Fun for the kids:** In addition to the trunks, we will have a hayride and games for the children to enjoy. Our Ignite Students and some adults will be helping with the games throughout the evening. 1. **Signing up a trunk:** If you haven’t signed up yet, please register as soon as possible using the link below. We want to reach our goal of 50 trunks, and having an accurate count will help our church staff organize the parking lot and activities. 2. **Entering the Chili Cook-Off:** If you plan to enter a pot of chili, please contact the church office so we know how many entries to expect. Church family, thank you for helping make Trunk or Treat such a special event each year!
